First on Fox: New documents obtained exclusively by Fox News Digital reveal that the US military Teaching complex race theory to West Point cadets (CRT), including the term “whiteness”.

Fox News Digital specifically obtained documents from the government watchdog group Judicial Watch, which had twice sued the military under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) for access to information.

“Our army is under attack – from the inside out,” Judicial Watch president Tom Fitton said in a statement. “These documents show that the racist, anti-American CRT campaign is being used to radically change our growing Army leadership at West Point.”

Phyton Fox told News Digital that he received the material as part of a request for documents related to the cadets’ teaching.

Judicial Watch has received 600 pages of documents from two lawsuits filed against the Department of Defense (DOD) for failing to comply with legally binding requests for documents.

The documents reveal Army officers-in-training are receiving lessons in CRT, which includes lessons on addressing “white” as well as lessons on using CRT when answering questions.

“To understand racial inequality and slavery, whiteness needs to be addressed.” Reads a slide.

The slide “whiteness” refers to “the structural purpose, the position of racial identity,” “the point of view or place in which whites view themselves and the rest of society,” and “refers to a group of generally unrecognized and unnamed cultural practices.”

“Do you think affirmative action creates the environment for ‘reverse discrimination’?” Reads a question. “Use CRT to support your answer.”

Fox News contacted the DOD for comment on the digital documents but received no response.

CRT has become a hot topic in academia and the military, with progressives pushing for it to be included in earlier classes.

The existence of this subject in the military has also led to criticism from veterans who have argued that it contradicts academic theory to the values ​​of the military.
