Andrew Wiggins and Jordan Poole celebrated their first NBA Championship with the Golden State Warriors on Thursday and predicted they would be next in line to get paid.

The Warriors recorded a video of Wiggins and Pool Instagram moments after spraying champagne in their locker room. The two called each other world champions.

“And you’re going to get a bag,” Poole told Wiggins.

Wiggins responded, “No, you’re going to get a bag.”

Then the two exclaimed: “We’m going to get a bag!”

Whatever the payoff for the Wiggins and the Pools, their roles in the NBA Finals victory over the Boston Celtics proved they deserved it.

Wiggins, who traded for the Warriors during the 2019-20 season, earned his first All-Star appearance of his career this season. He finished the regular season with 17.2 points and 4.5 rebounds per game. He finished the series with 18.3 points, 8.8 rebounds and 2.2 assists, including two doubles in the NBA Finals.

Poole splashed post-season with several buzzer-beating three-pointers and provided a consistent spark for the Warriors off the bench. He finished the regular season with an average of 18.5 points and 3.4 rebounds. In the finals, he averaged 13.2 points and 1.8 rebounds per game.

According to For Spotrock, Wiggins is set Earn $ 33.6 million in 2022-23 and become a free agent after next season. Pool is under contract for the 2022-23 season, earning $ 3.9 million and could become a limited free agent in 2023.
