An 8-year-old Texas boy has died after being caught in a washing machine and dryer during a game of hide and seek, the report said.

Captain Tim Watkins of the Thomas County Sheriff’s Office told People.com that the incident involving Juventus’ Wrangler Hendrix happened on Friday while visiting relatives and playing games at a relative’s home in Coolidge, Georgia.

Watkins told the website that police believe Hendrix was trying to hide behind equipment when he got stuck, and his family found him “stuck in a washer and dryer.”

Watkins added that the family immediately began CPR after finding the child “not responding.”

“The boy was taken to Arkbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia, where resuscitation efforts continued,” he told People.com.
