With a 5 game win over Colorado Avalanche, the Tampa Bay Lightning went 3-2 to play another day.
Andrzej Palat took the lead 6:22. Paulette’s shot goes wide of the net past goalkeeper Darcy Cumper’s glove. This is exactly what Lightning needs to do to cross Colorado. Tampa Bay did not follow the entire game and will now return the series to the East Coast.

This is Palat’s 11th goal in the series.
Tampa Bay goalie received a big game from Vasilevsky. He stopped 36 shots and was able to keep most of Colorado’s high-powered offense away from the game. The two goals he allowed were Valerie Nichushkin in the second period and Kale Makar in the third period.
Lightnings Jon Cooper disagrees with Game 4 overtime goal: ‘You’re going to see what I mean’
In the third period, Makar’s shot hits Vasilevsky, and Lightning defender Eric Sernak hits Vasilevsky’s legs. The previous goal was to tie the match.
But the palat goal gave more hope to the lightning.
Jan Rutta scored in the first period and brought the Lightning to the board. In the second period, Nikita Kucherov scored in the power play to give Tampa Bay a 2-1 lead.
The Colorado victory could end the series. The team now has a 3-2 lead in the Series over Lightning and Sunday victory could provide their first Stanley Cup Championship since 2001.
