During his Wednesday night show, MSNBC host Chris Hayes and his liberal guest hit back at children who attended drag shows that were “scary,” “weird,” “offensive,” and “violent.”

Journalist Parker told Molo Hayes that anti-child conservatives and Republican politicians at drag events see LGBTQ people as “a threat to being around children”. On the screen was the caption, “The Right Threat: Rightwing Terrorists Increase LGBTQ Hatred.”

The couple complained about Florida Governor Ron Desantis giving signals that he would be willing to sign a bill punishing parents who took their children to drag shows.

The Wapo column alleges that the defense services are ‘arming’ after opposing children on drag shows

“Now you have a lot of legislators talking about making it illegal for your child to be dragged into events, which may seem like a very strange and general idea. But people like Ron Disantis are talking about it. They could run for president in a few years,” Moloi said.

“It’s scary. It’s an idea that has become very mainstream on the right. And it’s a scary time,” said Hayes, a transgender activist and former editor of the left – leaning media watchdog Media Matters.

The MSNBC host agreed, calling opposition to children on drag shows “extremely” and “violent”.

Conservatives have been focusing on drag and LGTBTQ events for children in recent weeks.

The popular Twitter account “Libs of TikTok” was recently locked from its account for displaying several drag shows aimed at children with sexually explicit material. Twitter forced the user to delete those tweets, labeling them “abuse and harassment”.
