The wife of Charlotte Hornets Forward Miles Bridges spoke to share on social media Friday morning Details of her alleged assault This happened earlier this week, leading to the NBA player’s subsequent arrest.
Michael Johnson, 24, posted a series of photos on Instagram Show cuts and bruises to several areas of her body including her face, back and legs.
“I hate it so far but I can no longer be silent,” Johnson wrote in a lengthy Instagram caption. “I have allowed someone to destroy my house, abuse me in every way possible and hurt our children for the rest of my life. I have nothing to prove to the world, but I will not allow anyone who can do such a horrible thing to repent. And paint a picture of something I am not.”

She continued: “I will not allow the people around him to keep me silent and continue to lie to protect this man. It’s unethical, it’s unethical, it’s really sick.”
Bridges was arrested Wednesday in Los Angeles for felony domestic violence, after turning himself in to local authorities for an alleged assault a day earlier. According to TMZ Sports.
Police told the outlet that the altercation with the 24-year-old NBA player turned physical and that Johnson told her she needed medical help.

“I do not remain silent to protect others because I value myself and my children more than anyone ” image ‘.… Cracked nose, wrist, torn eardrum, torn muscles in my neck and severe concussion rather than suffocating until I fall asleep,” Johnson wrote in his post.
She also shared part of her discharge papers, which appeared to be from a hospital visit on Tuesday, where her diagnosis read: “Physically abused adult by male partner.”
The document listed her injuries as “strangulation, brain concussion, closed fracture of nasal bone, contusion of rib, multiple lacerations, neck muscle strain.”

“I don’t need sympathy, I don’t want this to happen to anyone else, I want this guy to get help, my kids deserve better. That’s all I want,” Johnson wrote. “It hurts, everything hurts, this situation hurts, especially for my children who have witnessed everything and I am afraid and hurt. Please respect my family’s privacy and stop with the nasty rumors and accusations.”
Bridges was arrested and released on $130,000 bail.
