Police in Maine are looking for a man involved in the hit and run death of Youth Retreat founder Acadia National Park.
Nicole Mokem, 35, died shortly after noon on Saturday night and early Sunday in an accident on the campus of the Scudic Institute in the park. The Portland Press Herald reported that the man wanted in connection with the death was in contact with Mokem.
The details of how Mokem was beaten are unclear. Police are still investigating Mokem’s death.

Police are searching for the hit and run culprit who killed Nicole Mokem.
Mokem is also one of the organizers of Black Excellence Retreat 2022 at the Scoodic Institute in Winter Harbor. That event was in progress during the hit and run.
