Lauren Conrad Roy v. Wade shares his experience with life-saving reproductive care in the face of manipulation.
Supreme Court Manipulated Roy vs. Wade In a landmark abortion decision on June 24th.
“The last few days have been very difficult. I was looking for the right words and it didn’t feel right to post someone else again,” Conrad wrote in his Instagram article on Tuesday. “I wanted to share my own experience with reproductive care that saves lives.”
Conrad revealed that she was suffering from an ectopic pregnancy six years ago. According to the Mayo Clinic, ectopic pregnancy occurs when a fertilized egg is implanted outside the uterus.
“Because of the prompt medical care, the doctors saved my fallopian tubes so that I could have two healthy pregnancies,” she continued.
Conrad shared the story of another woman dealing with an ectopic pregnancy Roy v. Wade was overturned.
“Yesterday I read about an ectopic pregnancy rupture in a woman with a similar condition – and facing death while waiting for treatment,” Conrad wrote. “Because her doctor was on the phone with his lawyer for fear of losing his medical license (for using D&C as a tool to help diagnose ectopic pregnancy). It was heartbreaking. [sic]. “
“I hope that one day we will be in a place where every woman can have the health care she needs and the freedom to decide what is going on in her body,” she concluded.
Conrad is not the only celebrity sharing his experience with reproductive health care. Hillary Burton claims she had a miscarriage due to a miscarriage that eventually “allowed” her to give birth to a 4-year-old daughter now.
“It’s painful to lose so many pregnancies before her, but the female bodies are all so different and unpredictable,” the “One Tree Hill” star explained. “Having an abortion after my fetus died allowed my uterus to heal in a way that would be healthy enough to carry future pregnancies.”
Burton revealed that the process of removing the lining of her uterus after a miscarriage was listed as “abortion” on hospital papers.
“The official term on hospital records is abortion,” she explained. “That is. If abortion is illegal, and law enforcement checked my body to make sure I did not have my own miscarriage.”
Burton has now warned of days to come Roy v. Wade was overturned.
“So f — you are too much for the Supreme Court. And f — you are for the ignorant moderate extremists who want my daughter to have less rights than I was born with.”
