Police in riot gear stormed a hotel in Los Angeles on Monday after a man locked himself in his room with a hostage.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department says it responded to a call of assault with a deadly weapon late Sunday night. According to police, the suspect locked himself in his room at the Travel Lodge Motel and held two adult women hostage.
Police are on the scene and have begun talks with the suspect.
