The Saudi-backed LIV Golf Tour has created a lot of emotion over the past two weeks as many major golfers joined the tour, getting themselves suspended from all PGA Tour events.
Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Sergio Garcia and Bryson are just a few of the golfers who have taken the heavy toll of LIV that has led to controversy in the golf world.
On Friday, NBA Hall of Famer and TNT basketball analyst Charles Barclays spoke out about the drama at The US McAfee Show, causing controversy at the US Open.
When asked about this weekend’s US Open, Barclays said, “I want all the LIV guys on the leaderboard.” I want to see the PGA Tour tremble in their d – n boots. Listen, I’m not a religious person, but I want to be confused at the US Open this weekend. “

Barclays said he did not judge golfers who chose to take money, joking with McAfee about throwing large sums of money.

Although LIV golfers are allowed to play in the 2022 US Open, USGA CEO Mike Vaughn says that may change in the future.
